Zapier is part digital Swiss army knife, part duct tape and part universal translator. Basically it connects things to make systems of the various services you take advantage of online. Zapier is an online tool that you use for automation that will help you to connect to to your favored applications like Mailchimp, Gmail or even Slack. What it does is allows you to connect to two or possibly more applications in order to automate tasks that are repetitive without the help of developers who build the integration or even without coding.
Let’s say that you are getting a good amount of attachments in your email in your account within Gmail and you would like to save those attachments to a place like Dropbox.
Whenever you receive the attachment, you would open that email, then click on that attachment and next you would be able to save that on Dropbox. But with Zapier you could have that process automated so you could save much needed time.
Zapier really does have so many workflows that are different that can be created. You could add Facebook Ads onto a Google sheet. You could decide to list tweets if you have different accounts for Twitter. You could even create events from Trello onto your Google Calendar. The possibilities are endless with Zapier! It’s a wonderful automation tool to use.
